After independence, the family started a small enterprise in Chandni Chowk of Delhi and became popular as BIKANERVALA— a name that has now become synonymous with quality culinary delights.

Mr. Aggarwal’s vision has morphed a simple halwai shop into an international brand. Standardization and modernization have been his key tools in expanding the chain of sweet shop-cum restaurants, where ethnic sweets and vegetarian pan-Indian cuisine is served in modern air-conditioned, fine-dining environs.

Few would know that the popular kaju-ki-burfi is a personal contribution of Mr. Aggarwal to the world of Indian sweets. This Managing Director is driven by a passion to present the rich culinary tradition of India under the confidence generating brand image of Bikanervala.
